Return and Exchange Policy


Return and Exchange Instructions

  • Our store generally does not accept returns or refunds without reason.
  • If there are quality problems, wrong goods or missing goods, customers can contact WAH TAI customer service team to apply for return, exchange or refund.
  • Please make a refund or exchange application by WhatsApp or email within 7 days from the date of receipt (based on the date of receipt of the courier).
  • If the returned goods do not meet the return conditions (please refer to the "Situations where refunds or exchanges are not allowed" below), Huatai Seafood will have the right to reject your return or exchange application. WAH TAI will contact you and return the relevant goods to you, and you will be responsible for all the costs incurred.
  • Returns and exchanges are limited to designated stores or cooperative points of WAHI TAI.

Refund Process

1. Request Refund

  • Apply for a refund via WhatsApp or email within 7 days from the date of receipt (based on the date of receipt). The message must indicate your order number and the goods to be returned.

2. Approval Results

  • WAH TAI will review your refund application and reply via WhatsApp or email within 5 working days after receiving your refund application. If your refund application is confirmed, WAH TAI will provide a refund application number and a list of designated stores or partner points.

3. Choose a designated store or partner

  • Within 3 days after WAH TAI issues the confirmation return application number, you must reply to the store you choose to return via WhatsApp or email. Once we receive your confirmation, we will inform the relevant store of your return arrangement. After that, WAH TAI will send you a return notification via WhatsApp or email.

4. Returns at stores or partner locations

  • Please return the product to the designated store or cooperative point within 3 days after WAH TAI issues the return notice. If you fail to return the product within the deadline, the return application will be automatically cancelled.

5. Arrange refund

  • WAH TAI will arrange a refund within 5 working days after receiving your returned goods and confirming that they meet the return conditions. The refund amount will be returned to the credit card or payment platform of your original order. The actual refund arrival time will depend on different banks or payment platforms, and it is generally expected to be completed within about 10 to 15 working days.

Exchange process

1. Request a replacement

  • Request a replacement within 7 days from the date of receipt (based on the date of receipt of the courier). The message must indicate your order number, the item to be returned, and the exchange request.

2. Approval Result

  • Within 3 days after WAH TAI issues the confirmation number for the exchange request, you must reply to the store you choose to exchange via WhatsApp or email. Once we receive your confirmation, we will inform the relevant store of your exchange arrangement. After that, WAH TAI will send you a exchange notification via WhatsApp or email.

4. Returns at stores or partner locations

  • Please make sure to go to the designated store or cooperative point for exchange within 3 days after WAH TAI issues the exchange notice. If you fail to exchange within the deadline, the exchange application will be automatically cancelled.

No refund or exchange possible

If the returned product does not meet the following return conditions:

  • The goods are in their original condition (the goods are intact, unopened, uneaten or undamaged; there are no stains or smears on the goods) and do not affect secondary sales.
  • The outer packaging of the goods is intact (for example: the packaging is intact and not damaged or smeared; please do not directly stick any tape or labels on the goods). Please pack the returned goods in a complete and non-transparent bag or box, and fill in the exchange application number on the parcel express delivery bill.
  • All related accessories of the goods (such as gift bags, tags or other accessories for some goods) must be returned together.
  • The goods/packages containing additional gifts (for example: purchase gifts) must also be returned together. The gifts must be kept in the state when they were signed for. If the gifts cannot be returned, WAH TAI reserves the right to require you to pay according to the gift price indicated on this website.

WAH TAI will not be able to assist with refunds or exchanges in the following circumstances:

  • Items purchased under certain discounts or promotions that specifically specify that refunds or exchanges are not allowed;
  • The electronic confirmation or order number issued at the time of purchase is lost;
  • Orders that exceed the refund or exchange period;
  • The products are used in improper places, including but not limited to contact with chemicals, gasoline, paint, detergents, solvents, cooking oil, overheating, soaking in water, etc.;
  • Product damage and brand problems caused by improper cooking, improper storage, or external physical damage;
  • Products that have been eaten, damaged or deformed;
  • Non-WAH TAI products;
  • Products not sold on the WAH TAI Hong Kong official website.

Note:

  • If you suspect that the product has quality problems, please contact us. The quality problem will be verified by WAH TAI's after-sales team and the final decision will be made.
  • You can only refund or exchange products purchased on this website. You cannot request a refund or exchange for products purchased on this website at WAH TAI offline stores, and vice versa.
